GranCanada new album release concert / special guest: Nunki Bay Starship

GranCanada’s five-piece line-up features a trumpet in addition to the basic trio of drums, bass and guitar, and the instrumentation is topped off with vocals that combine the softness of soul with the rough edge of hip hop. They will be bringing their new album to the House of Music in early spring. Meanwhile the other act of the evening will be Nunki Bay Starship, who orbit around a pop-funk-soul axis. The rockin' sound of both bands promises a perfect concert, particularly given that GranCanada will be performing their second album live.
