Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the Magnificat Girls’ Choir presents a festive concert that looks back on three and a half decades of musical journey while also embracing the present and the future. The evening will feature two world premieres:
In the first half of the program, the choir will perform Arany Lacinak, a new three-part choral work by Gyula Bánkövi, set to the poem by Sándor Petőfi, as well as Dominus pascit me by Levente Gyöngyösi, composed specifically for the Magnificat Girls’ Choir.
In the second half of the concert, former members of the choir will join the current ensemble on stage, culminating in a powerful and moving joint performance – a true reflection of the choir’s strong sense of community and lasting unity.
