An outstanding singer/songwriter on the Catalan New Folk music scene, Sílvia Pérez Cruz will be performing in Hungary for the first time on May 21 at the House of Music. Born in a family of musicians, she first trained as a classical performer. After exploring jazz and Latin music, she discovered flamenco, a genre which she has developed in non-traditional directions along with guitarist Raül Fernandez Refree. Since their joint album, released during the last decade, Pérez Cruz has been continuously exploring the world of avant-folk. Her songs always have a historical focus and are always accompanied with her fascinating, spellbinding presentations.
According to current regulations, from March 7, 2022, it is no longer obligatory to wear a mask when visiting the House of Music Hungary. Concerts, programs and exhibitions can be attended without a vaccination certificate or card.
