Concert at lunchtime! Lunch at a concert!

The House of Music's latest series – Lunchtime concerts – means you can enjoy short concerts by young talents at lunchtime. This series features music from students of the Academy of Music, and the 35-minute mini-concerts are complemented by a meal.

The aim of the series is to draw attention to one of the most important parts of Hungarian heritage, the Roma music of the cafés, which sadly is increasingly neglected nowadays. 

As part of the Tuned to Children series, all bands who don't usually play for children will perform. After all, we believe that children do not have to play anything else, at most in a different way. Because honest, good music finds its way to everyone, especially to open-minded young people! So we hope that our wish will be fulfilled that the band and good music in general will be discussed not only among musicians, but also among several young people in general.

Ramazuri – Music from A to Z, for both children and adults, from concerts to workshops – is a monthly series of events which aims to provide entertainment for the whole family.

The House of Music Hungary is launching a new, entertaining series: music quizzes in the Pop Culture Club Library! Do your friends no longer even have to open Shazam, they immediately know just to ask you? Is Spotify one of your favourite apps? Is your Facebook wall regularly filled with fun music facts?  If you recognise yourself in the above, then this might not be such a big secret for you, but you are a die-hard music fan! Just like us. Just for you and music gurus like ourselves, we have created the Dammit, I Knew That! quiz series, held in the Pop Culture Club Library of the House of Music Hungary.

Each of the performances in our series tells an instructive story in accordance with the highest artistic expectations. This in itself is remarkable, but at the same time, a common feature of these performances is that they try to connect the classic with the new, the tradition with the present. To do this, however, they use completely different genres: contemporary circus, contemporary music, folk music fairy tale plays. So those who attend all three performances will not only get to know the different faces of the world of fairy tales, the new faces of classic stories, but also the most diverse genres!
