Let's engage in forest bathing together for four months in the City Park! We invite everyone for a two-hour group recreational walk, based on the forest therapy method, helping participants to slow down, quiet down, relax, and observe everything that surrounds them in the here and now. Led by Niki Rendes, an environmental educator, forest bathing leader, and tree examiner, these walks focus on both the outer and inner world.
As part of the Tuned to Children series, all bands who don't usually play for children will perform. After all, we believe that children do not have to play anything else, at most in a different way. Because honest, good music finds its way to everyone, especially to open-minded young people! So we hope that our wish will be fulfilled that the band and good music in general will be discussed not only among musicians, but also among several young people in general.
The House of Music Hungary is launching a new, entertaining series: music quizzes in the Pop Culture Club Library! Do your friends no longer even have to open Shazam, they immediately know just to ask you? Is Spotify one of your favourite apps? Is your Facebook wall regularly filled with fun music facts? If you recognise yourself in the above, then this might not be such a big secret for you, but you are a die-hard music fan! Just like us. Just for you and music gurus like ourselves, we have created the Dammit, I Knew That! quiz series, held in the Pop Culture Club Library of the House of Music Hungary.

How can we make music and theatre accessible to all?
The Introduction to Opera series is where the fusion of these two fields – opera – can be understood and enjoyed by everyone. The programme of talks and concerts, which dissects the greatest operas in a humorous and easily accessible way, will continue in the 2024/25 season.
The program is held in Hungarian.
Music too has its own close friends. And as friends do, they often meet up to create wonderful things together. In this series, we aim to show how dance, theatre, and poetry are all connected to music and, conversely, how the addition of music can enhance these other art forms. As for how we plan to do this, suffice it to say that these special performances in this series are all inspired by folk traditions, so those attending them will also be exposed to some of Hungary’s tremendous richness in this regard! So anyone who enjoys learning new things while having fun would do well to purchase tickets for this series!
This programme is recommended for visitors aged 5 and older.
Contemporary Hungarian film and (rock) music have been in contact practically since the late 1960s. Sometimes more intensively, sometimes more loosely, but they are essentially inseparable. Before the screenings, Béla Szilárd Jávorszky will talk briefly about the genesis and pop-historical significance of these works, followed by a discussion with a guest film aesthetics expert on the relevant domestic and international trends.
