Henrik Szőcs piano recital
German, French and Russian music: the pillars of Romantic and 20th century music history. This concert in the Piano Tuned series, named in honour of Henrik Szőcs, will bring together an experimental juxtaposition of representative pieces from each of these three pillars. The experimental element is to see how these pieces, which are fundamentally different in spirit, interact, complement, or cancel each other out. Perhaps there are also other options? We will only find out there and then, on the day. The concert will feature works that are sure to appeal to classical music aficionados and fans alike: they run a broad emotional gamut and are not lacking in healthy virtuosity.
The concerts of our Tuned to Piano program series can easily captivate those who are still far from the world of romantic piano literature, while they also hold new experiences for those who come to the House of Music Hungary as black-belt classical music fans.
