Our series Hangadó Senior is especially aimed at older participants, but of course we welcome anyone who is interested. The aim of the series is to act as a club and to playfully tell a chapter of music history in an hour-long interactive journey through time. 

The 80th anniversary of the death of Béla Bartók 26 September 2025 The inventor of comparative ethnomusicology, who systematised the music he collected from Hungarian and Balkan peoples, conducted research in Africa and died in New York. He was banned from performing his works in fascist dictatorships and has inextricable ties to his homeland. We take a look into the life of a great musician, composer and educator of a thousand colours with the help of talented young pianist Domonkos Váray - who loves Bartók!
