Freddie - the Exhibition guided tours in English by Peter Freestone
Guided tour
Szervezés:
For the guided tour led by Peter Freestone, which begins at 10:00 a.m., we ask visitors to gather at the museum entrance by 9:45 a.m. At that time, before the museum opens, we will admit them to the museum ahead of the general line so that the guided tour can begin at 10:00 a.m. Thank you for your cooperation!
The temporary exhibition Freddie pays tribute to one of the greatest rock stars of all time, Freddie Mercury. This year marks 80 years since the artist was born, and forty years since he and his band Queen gave a legendary stadium concert in Hungary—the first massive rock event held by a Western star band behind the Iron Curtain. These two anniversaries make the joint exhibition by World of Freddie and the House of Music, which celebrates the world star’s legacy, especially timely. Through hundreds of original personal objects and stories, and immersive installations, it reveals the lesser-known, human side of Freddie Mercury. On this related guided tour, Peter Freestone—Freddie’s personal assistant and close friend, as well as the exhibition’s audio commentary, its “voice”—will share the exhibition’s stories in greater depth, in English.
The guided tour is in English, and the ticket price includes admission to the exhibition.
