Kurtag 100
On György Kurtág's 100th birthday, the latest Sound Dome film entitled Kurtág Universe, will be premiered in honor of the composer. The starting point for the immersive video's visual world is Kurtág's abstract mood sketches, inseparably interwoven with a musical material based on the cycle Zwiegespräch, composed jointly by the composer and his son, György Kurtág Jr. The 15-minute work, commissioned by the Budapest Music Center as part of the Kurtág100 program series, will remain on the programme at the Sound Dome 360 cinema after the premiere.
