BY CAR

Arriving by car, you can reach the 800-space Museum Underground Car Park via Dózsa György Road. You can enter the car park from Dózsa György Road on the section between Damjanich Street and Dembinszky Street. From the Museum Underground Car Park, you can reach the House of Music with a few minutes’ walk across City Park. There are signposts to help show you the way. 

You can receive two hours' free parking for the day of your visit if you purchase tickets online. To take advantage of this offer, please validate your parking ticket at the House of Music Hungary information desk prior to leaving the car park. If you are attending an evening concert, you can validate your ticket before the event, until 8 pm.

The three-storey car park is open every day of the year, 24 hours a day. You can read more about the Museum Underground Car Park here. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

You can get off the No. 70 trolley bus at the Olof Palme Promenade stop. From there, you can reach the House of Music with just a few minutes’ walk. There are signposts to help show you the way. You can also easily reach the House of Music from the Ajtósi Dürer Row stop of the No. 74 trolley bus, or the Zichy Géza Street stop for the No. 75 trolley bus. There are signposts to help show you the way to the House of Music. You can reach the House of Music with a pleasant, 15-minute walk from the Széchenyi Baths stop of the M1 metro line. There are signposts in City Park to help show you the way.
 

BY BICYCLE

Designated cycle lanes indicate the direction of travel for cyclists in City Park. If you are arriving by bicycle, you can use the cycle racks located in front of the House of Music.

Disabled access

The building of the Hungarian House of Music is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Signs indicate disabled access routes within the building. House of Music staff are available at the information desk to provide assistance, if required.
