DOME_RELOAD is the traditional festival at the beginning of the year celebrating the House of Music's Sound Dome, a unique, immersive cinema. In 2026, we will once again welcome visitors with a week-long, exclusive program: re-screenings of our popular films combined with audience Q&As, the debut of two new Sound Dome films, and, as a further novelty, the launch of two new series at once – Sound Dome concerts and 360° concert films – with a performance by Meybahar, accompanied by a screening of our film DOME 016 Csontváry: Levante, as well as recordings of two previous House of Music concerts (Makrohang, Vad Fruttik), which we adapted to the dome's 360° space and sound system to give everyone a very special experience with these short concert films.

Our special Hangadó Senior series, entitled Musical Landscapes. It is linked to our temporary exhibition "Musical Journey Around the World". We look at the great folk music landscapes of the Carpathian Basin. Ethnography, folk dance, folk music, customs, we "travel" to many magical landscapes that hold secrets unknown to many, in a 90-minute interactive performance. For the first time, Sándor Petőfi's lines will be our guide, as we explore the typical dances, folk music and art of the region so beloved by the poet!

The exhibition LISTEN. - A musical journey around the world takes us on a journey through the wonderful, music-filled life of more than thirty countries. Through the films and the installations in the exhibition, we are plunged into traditional, communal moments of music: around a festive table, in the middle of a dance, in the thick of a masked procession. We get a taste of music's ancient, communal role.
