Just call it rock’n’roll! – all about the pop culture film by György Szomjas
Other than writing successful movies, film director György Szomjas (1940–2021), recipient of the prestigious Kossuth and Balázs Béla awards, was perhaps the most prominent documenter of the táncház (“dance house”) movement. An avid fan of authentic folk music, he has directed dozens of documentaries about folk music as well. Having recently finished biography, Béla Szilárd Jávorszky will hold a presentation about his own work.
According to current regulations, from March 7, 2022, it is no longer obligatory to wear a mask when visiting the House of Music Hungary. Concerts, programs and exhibitions can be attended without a vaccination certificate or card.
