CANCELLED - Rozina Minka Pátkai feat. Krisztián Peer: Now
Rozina Pátkai has been performing actively since 2010, initially gaining a reputation as a jazz and bossa nova singer, but with her Minka project she has started to create surprising, exciting and largely electronic-based arrangements of poems. To follow her work on Western poets and János Pilinsky, she will release her third album of the genre, which will be premiered on 15 March at the House of Music. And you bet! This time the focus is on Sandor Petőfi's poetry.
Unusual literature class with Rozina Pátkai and Krisztián Peer
A poetry workshop using Petőfi’s works: a tongue twisting disco and alliteration contest, a random sentence generator and imaginary translations and finally writing poetic texts together and creatively setting them to music. In this extraordinary literature class, we will take ownership of our native language and wonder at ourselves through it. Language tempts us to play, to rebel, but not to exclude, to embrace rap and slam poetry as well as the classical forms of poetry. Let's write a waltz together, a composition with a time signature or metric, let's make music out of tongue twisters!
