„Musicians of the future in Europe, Europe in Veszprém” - Concert of youth orchestras

The House of Music Hungary opens its doors to the city several times a year, and this time we are offering you an insight into the musical life of the city of Veszprém through a series of special concerts and one-off events over several weeks.

The Zoltán Gárdonyi Youth Chamber Orchestra and the György Solti Music School String Orchestra are two of the best-known Hungarian youth string ensembles. They have received numerous awards for their outstanding achievements. Head-to-head, they have twice shared first place at the National Orchestra Competition. Both are holders of 1st prize at the prestigious European Music Festival for Young People in Belgium. They have been partners since 2012, performing together at the Glass Hall in the MÜPA (Palace of Arts) and in the Klassz a pARTon series.
