The Singer-Songwriters Series brings three exceptional artists from the international contemporary folk, indie, and art-pop scenes to the Zene Ház. The evenings in this series are built around powerful songwriting worlds, unique storytelling, and experimental musical approaches. The season ticket series will feature, for the first time in Hungary, performances by Alela Diane and Cate Le Bon, among others, as well as a special, intimate concert by Scott Lavene.

Welsh singer-songwriter-producer Cate Le Bon, an architect of sound, is constantly exploring uncharted territory with her music; she is one of the most exciting indie-rock, baroque-pop, and psych-folk artists of the past twenty years. With her art-pop and avant-rock albums, she has earned the admiration of both critics and audiences alike. She will perform her first solo concert in Hungary, showcasing tracks from her 2025 album *Michelangelo Dying*.

British singer-songwriter Scott Lavene invites the audience to an evening with a unique atmosphere, where music and storytelling form an almost inseparable whole. The Essex-based artist’s songs evoke the world of characters who have drifted to the fringes of everyday life. His music straddles the line between indie folk and post-punk, and his performance style is direct and conversational—as if we were listening to short stories woven into melodies. The evening will open with a performance by JuciHunorDuo, a collaboration between two well-known musicians: Juci Németh and Hunor G. Szabó.

One of the most distinctive voices in contemporary folk, Alela Diane will perform for the first time in Budapest on the stage of the Hungarian House of Music to present her latest album, *Who’s Keeping Time?*, set for release in May 2026. The singer-songwriter, who burst onto the contemporary folk and indie-folk scene in the early 2000s, has released numerous collaborative albums in addition to her own solo work. This will be her first time performing her new songs and classics in Hungary.
