Danubia Orchestra - Stories in Music

The program is held in Hungarian.

What the heck is music, really? And why did people ever decide that they wanted to make music anyway? What is it good for? And how can the oldest instruments be many tens of thousands of years old? What did monks sing in the Middle Ages, and what sounds did primitive people dance to? What do waltzes and African conga music have in common? There's so much we could tell you about... and we will! We've condensed the hundred thousand years of music history into 50 minutes, from the bone flute to Star Wars. There will be dancing, a communal conga party, powdered wigs, and everything else under the sun. Everything you want to know about music history, but never dared to ask.
