The second curatorial weekend in the House of Music, Hungary will feature musician Miklós Lukács as he talks about the current situation in his area of music. For Sunday, May 15, this Prima prize cimbalom player has organised a meetup between Hungarian and Greek musical cultures. Following Greek lyre player Sokratis Sinopolous’s afternoon workshop, the musicians will give a concert together with the Hungarian and Greek Meybahar Orchestra, after which Miklós Lukács will join in as well to compare the Hungarian cimbalom to its Greek counterpart, the santur.
According to current regulations, from March 7, 2022, it is no longer obligatory to wear a mask when visiting the House of Music Hungary. Concerts, programs and exhibitions can be attended without a vaccination certificate or card.
