Soundtrack for a silent film - presentation of Rick Róbert's music for the silent film 'After Death'

The premiere of pianist and composer Róbert Rick’s music for the silent film After Death. The House of Music Hungary will host the finalist’s performance of the Give Voice to Silent Film competition announced at the Valley of Arts festival. The music is based on the 1920 five-act crime drama After Death. The newly created soundtrack is not just an underscore, but rather an integral part of the film, bonding closely with both the plot and the visuals – as it would in a ballet or opera. The work will be performed with the composer Róbert Rick at the piano and his regular chamber music partner Orsolya Szilágyi on clarinet and bass clarinet.
