Tabula Rasa #5 – Curator: Aurél Holló
Tabula Rasa #5 – Curator: Aurél Holló
The House of Music's Tabula Rasa series was launched in the spring of 2022. As its title suggests it starts from scratch with four musicians who will give an improvisational concert on the second night of the series, after a day and a half of rehearsals. The undisguised aim of Tabula Rasa is to encourage fresh musical expression, improvisation and interpretation, independent of genre and among representatives of different musical genres. On each occasion, a curator invites the musicians, conceives the concept and leads the formation, which is put together exclusively for the event. The performance is then released as a recording by the House of Music. For the fifth such occasion, Aurél Holló from Amadinda will be the curator in charge of the concept and will lead the formation – a true super-group – with István Grencsó on wind, Gábor Juhász on guitar and Miklós Lukács on dulcimer.
With the performers, Jr. József Bazsinka, editor and presenter of Bartók Radio, will be in conversation with the performers. The conversation will be held in Hungarian.
