MIHÁLY aka the ghosts of a City
MIHÁLY aka the ghosts of a City
The program series of the House of Music Hungary City Gate: Debrecen continues with a premiere on June 10, at which the city's famous poet comes to life in modern form. Mihály Csokonai Vitéz speaks to us today through the microphone of MC Tink in a surreal music and literature performance.
Csokonai is not from the past, he is the big streamlined and even new wave of Debrecen. The surreal musical-literary performance dreamed up by Zsolt Prieger - or even a literary DJ set - also supports this idea. His composer, Mihály Balázsovics (MC Tink) and the jazz trumpeter of Debrecen, Gábor Subicz, have a similar opinion, so they decided to work together to create a work that is atmospheric, dancing, thoughtful, philosophical and ridiculous.
