András Wahorn is a visual artist-musician or more broadly a multi-instrumentalist, multimedia artist and film director. He became one of the most important figures on the Hungarian underground scene of the 1980s, displaying his musicianship in the Bizottság group. As leader of the band, which released two epochal albums under the name A.E. Bizottság (Kalandra fel!! [Up for Adventure!!! – 1983, Ice Crème Ballet [Ice-Cream Ballet] – 1984), he played saxophone and keyboards. András Wahorn’s connection to the House of Music's exhibition of Hungarian pop history is through avant-garde, underground culture in this mini-concert series in the temporary exhibition space: They Wrote that Song for Us!
