XENAKIS-DAY: Mark Fell & Okkyung Lee | UMZE: Xenakis - Phlegra
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Iannis Xenakis’ birth, the House of Music, Hungary is holding an all-day commemorative event, which includes a concert by multidisciplinary artist Mark Fell and exceptional music producer Okkyung Lee, preceded by a workshop to create an interactive, site-specific sound installation that is operated by workshop participants. Between the two, a round-table discussion hosted by Urbanus will explore the architectural/philosophical work of Xenakis, and an original Xenakis work will be heard as well.
