Gyuriemberek

This programme is held in Hungarian.

Uncle Gyuri is rowing on the new waters of new sounds with the birth of the band called GYURIEMBEREK. However, sometimes less is more. Thus the many-membered band condenses into a trio, namely the bell-like, jingling-voiced Eszter Czine sings. Péter Wagner-Puskás, who knows all the keyboards in the world, plays the piano and the accordion, which of course harmonizes perfectly with Eszter’s voice. And finally the songwriter, Uncle Gyuri, who sings and warbles, plays the guitar, and is no stranger to backing vocals either.
So. IF you like contemporary children’s literary lyric poetry. IF you like the funny, goofy, or sometimes more serious—but in any case excellent—poems of Dani Varró, Judit Ágnes Kiss, András Dániel, János Lackfi—and I could go on and on—and you like music, OR—good heavens!—you like poem-music, then this is the place for you!
I’m not saying it will be interactive, but who knows?!
I’m not claiming that you’ll burst into song, but who knows?!
We promise nothing but poetry, music, and good cheer! ;)

We are welcoming the whole family to our outdoor stage with ever more exciting concerts, performances and activities at 10:30 every Saturday throughout the summer! Our series is not only dedicated to a wide variety of musical genres – from jazz through Hungarian and African folk music to classical music – but also to some great artists who may be less familiar to the general public but who really deserve more attention.
