SOLD-OUT - MÁV Symphony Orchestra: Spring Concert
The MÁV Symphony Orchestra's Waiting for Spring Concert for preschool and school-age children, will be present a selection of works that celebrate the season, because many composers have been inspired by birdsong and the message delivered in nature’s awakening. You will be entertained with projections, musical games, children's songs, and storytelling, and spring will be summoned to the following musical programme:
Vivaldi: Spring Mendelssohn: Spring Song
Vivaldi: The Lark Cantabile Flute Concerto - 1st movement
Saint-Saëns: Cuckoo
Haydn: Children's Symphony - 1st movement
Strauss: Voices of Spring
After the concert, children will be able to take a closer look at the instruments that were played during the concert and the musicians will be happy to answer any questions. The matinee concert will be led by the flautist and music teacher Edit Székely.
The language of the event is Hungarian.
The concerts in our series are designed to highlight the diversity of music. Classical, jazz and popular music are all part of the series, so if you attend our events, you will soon see that music truly has a thousand faces. What is more, following the concerts, the performers provide an opportunity to get to know the instruments that were played during the performance and take a closer look at them. Put another way, taking part in a musical journey has never been easier.
Recommended age: 5 years and up.
The language of the events are hungarian.
According to current regulations, from March 7, 2022, it is no longer obligatory to wear a mask when visiting the House of Music Hungary. Concerts, programs and exhibitions can be attended without a vaccination certificate or card.
