SOLD-OUT - QJÚB - Album Release (Guest: Platon Karataev Duo)

The works of János Pilinszky and Sándor Csoóri form the creative basis for Miklós H. Vecsei and his team in their latest concert theatre performance A kocka kibontása [Unfolding the Cube], with a live projected set by the Burning Incandescent team and and installation by Szonja Koltay. The premiere performance will take place in Budapest at the House of Music Hungary, where Platon Karataev's two frontmen, Gergely Balla and Cz.K. Sebő will be the guests. All the members of the creative team led by Miklós H. Vecsei, which travels on the borders between theatre, music and performance, are each recognized artists in their own field: Bori Hegedűs – vocals, Ábel Mihalik – drums, Jakab Frimmel – keyboards, electronics, Viktor Paczári – bass guitar, Huba Ratkóczi – lead guitar. Their debut show, Dialogue in the Dark, has had more than 50 performances and audiences of almost 20,000 since its premiere in June 2021. In their latest performance, they have tried to bring together visual elements with musical complexity and light art in the most cathartic form possible, so that the life's work of these two giants of poetry does not remain in our memory at the level of words alone.

"Language is a mysterious thing. Like the eye, or a gesture of the hand left unfinished. That's all he said: Blessed are those who weep... And this has been inexhaustible ever since. I don't know if you understand, but we are talking about a kind of anarchism, about the fact that at all times we can know nothing." – János Pilinszky
