Creative Sound Space LIVE – ROBOT ORGAN

Gábor Borosi and Alex Hrencsjár will create works for the main attraction of the Creative Sound Space, the robotic organ, as part of the Interactive Music Project course on the MA in Composition at the Academy of Music. The course is taught by Bálint Bolcsó, who has been involved in the programming of several installations in the Creative Sound Space. In addition to the composed exam pieces, the artists will also prepare improvisations. Their aim is to exploit the special capabilities of the instrument through computer control as far as possible, placing them at the service of artistic expression. Despite the electronic sound, it is important to note that actual sounds of the concert will be produced by the organ itself, entirely acoustically.
