Stage Call! – Sokkal másabb

This programme is held in Hungarian.

The music of Much Different (Sokkal másabb) is perhaps best described as brass post-rock. The sound relies on brass, primarily two bass clarinets, but the feel and melody is mostly more akin to hard rock, metal or even punk. Not exclusively, of course: a lot can happen during musical adventures, but at its core is a "darkly joyous, biting crush."

The program will be held even in rainy weather, as the Open-air Stage is largely covered.

Aspiring and hobby musicians

In support of the House of Music's mission, we have launched the Fringe programme - a call for applications in three categories - for music schools and their students, hobby musicians and street musicians to perform at various venues in the House. The Up on Stage! series features talented beginner and amateur musicians who have had little opportunity to perform on a wider stage.
