Rock movie club - Rocktérítő (1988)
In the Budapest underground of the eighties, Neurotic. It was in a class of its own, primarily because of its leader, Tamás Pajor. He was the most ruthless and the most eccentric of all who cultivated rebellion at the level of permanent public scandal: jumping around drunkenly on moving cars, hanging out of tower blocks, and spending his everyday life in a drug- and alcohol-fuelled stupor. Then, in October 1987, during the filming of Rocktérítő, he spectacularly reformed. As he put it in the film, 'the Holy Spirit replaced the drugs'.

Before the screenings, Béla Szilárd Jávorszky will talk briefly about the genesis and pop-historical significance of these works, followed by a discussion with a guest film aesthetics expert on the relevant domestic and international trends.
