Hats Off!–Fifti-Fifti
Hats Off!–Fifti-Fifti
In the framework of the Fringe programme, launched in support of the House of Music's mission, we have launched a call for applications in three categories - music schools, hobby musicians and street musicians - for the opportunity to perform at various venues of the House. In the Hats off! series, we will bring street musicians and the music they play to the outside of the House of Music, in the park of the City Park.
This time Fifti-Fifti will be playing around the House and at the ZeneKert.
The performance is acoustic. The songs have a unique sound, and the melodies and instrumentation are very different from the usual in their category.
The programme is composed of poems by contemporary and classical Hungarian poets. In 2024, at the Street Musicians Competition in Eger, Hungary, which was held for the tenth time, the orchestra was awarded the best solo/duo professional prize out of 47 participating formations.
As part of the Fringe program launched to support the mission of the House of Music – with calls announced in three categories – we are giving an opportunity for music school students, amateur musicians, and street musicians to perform at various points in the House. In the Hats Off! series, we fill the external environment of the House of Music, the City Park, with street musicians and the music they play.
