Klári Katona Closeness production is a truly Gesamtkunstwerk.
Her writings, embedded in music and performed in her own interpretation, found their musical co-creators in László Gőz, Kornél Fekete-Kovács and Emil Gherasim. The visual world is based on the concepts of Gábor Goda and his visual co-creators Gáspár Hajdu and Mihály Lukács. The unity created by the artists, in the special space of the Sound Dome, with three-dimensional perception, lifts us into a world that cannot be experienced anywhere else.
The basis of the joint work is provided by the sensitive writings of Klári Katona. Through her own interpretation, her writerly world opens up to us even more. With this work created for the Sound Dome, she leads us between genres to discover true closeness. The thoughts formulated in I Live, Differently, The Sentence, Love, Blessed Be the Man, Shared Existence, The Question, The Attraction of Our Repulsions, The Embrace, I Know, the intimately addressing message, the emotional pulsation of the music, its silences, and the minimalist, uncluttered visual world become a new whole through the emphases they receive from one another.
Together with her fellow creators, Klári Katona invites us to notice the liveability of life, the feelings, the man–woman relationship, attentiveness to one another, and the true richness of our world.
This is not teaching, but a process of experiencing. Those arriving in the Sound Dome, entering the inner space created by the artists, can become part of it with their presence, attention, and perception.
“What comes close to us every day is perhaps what sweeps us the furthest away from one another. As if we were afraid that in coming close we would lose ourselves. Yet true closeness is different. It is desired and receptive. By experiencing it, it offers richness, a state of trust” – she says.
The work, which is shaped into a whole from a trinity, is created in this spirit.

In the underground levels of the House of Music Hungary lies the Sound Dome. This is where the program begins, with a short film providing an unusual acoustic and visual experience, after which the visitors are shown an increasing number of similar films.
