In 2026, the joint interdisciplinary festival of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and the House of Music Hungary, the Intermezzo Festival, now entering its fourth year, will once again welcome lovers of culture. In collaboration with the enthusiastic students of MOME, this year we are once again striving to bring creators and audiences closer together, while jointly celebrating the joy and diversity of art. This year’s program places special emphasis on the dialogue between different artistic and technological fields, offering experiences that engage all the senses—from digital and analog solutions, through movement and spatial use, all the way to intelligent systems. In addition to the audiovisual performances of the Sound Dome, interwoven with organic sounds, unexpected movements, textile-clad performances, exciting concerts, and interactive workshops will open up space towards new layers of perception. Immerse yourselves with us in a synesthesia-laced experience on May 22, and let’s open the 2026 festival season together!
