Várhegyutca is a true crowd-moving genre chameleon, an absolute live concert band. The 10-piece, psychedelia-sprinkled, experimental Balkan-funk formation combines elements of funk, reggae, Balkan and folk music in a unique way, with unconventional instrumentation. Through their distinctively sounding feel-good music, they have built a continuously growing community. After filling the auditorium of the House of Music, the group also made its debut in front of a huge audience on the Open-Air Stage in 2025, so it’s no surprise that they are holding their album release concert here as well. Recently, they also performed at the Music Hungary Showcase in front of key figures in the music industry, and in addition, they were selected among the 12 bands supported by the Hangfoglaló Program.
