Boggie: Apoteózis – album release
The Fonogram-awarded Boglárka Csemer ’Boggie’ presents a new, her fifth consecutive original studio album. The songs of the album titled Apoteózis were written around the album title; the material explores how much we can do to become better people, and whether it is possible to reach divine heights in that endeavour. Boggie will premiere the album's material at the House of Music.
Many important things have happened to the singer who burst onto the scene in December 2013 with the song Parfüm and also reached the Billboard charts: in 2018 she represented Hungary as the only female songwriter at one of the world's largest showcase festivals, SXSW in Texas. In 2019 she received the Hangvilla Award for her outstanding performance work. In 2021 she performed with her band at the Budapest-based BUSH showcase festival. In June 2022 she represented Hungary at the 22nd European Music Festival in Algiers, the capital of Algeria, to resounding success. She presented her 2022 album Fragilité at the Zene Háza, and will do the same with her newest fifth album on April 25 — while in 2025 she also released a collaborative album with Petruska titled Hunclorique.
