Cserihanna is one of the latest splashes of colour in the Hungarian alternative pop scene, having released her first song, ZSIRÁFHÁT (GIRAFFE BACK), in October 2022, with the video making its debut on Klipszemle. Her next compositions also attracted a great deal of attention (making it onto Spotify’s viral list). In May 2023, she released her first album KIKÖTŐ (HARBOUR), which has since been streamed more than half a million times. After a sold-out record release event and a busy festival season, she was included in the Conquest of Sound – Up and Coming Performers Programme, which will bring her to the House of Music Open-Air Stage to give a free concert in 2024. Already familiar from the theatrical world, where she has been recognised for her work as a director and composer, Hanna is equally experimental in her music, addressing the typical themes and problems of young adulthood with unparalleled and sometimes self-deprecating humour.
