Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition

The House of Music’s exhibition titled Sound Dimensions offers an experience that – based on hundreds of thousands of feedback responses, we can safely say – lasts a lifetime. We would like to make it possible for underage children to experience this as well – and thereby give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in good hands. For this reason, we have created a guided tour specifically for children, held without adults, whose aim is to allow the youngest age group to engage with the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute programme uses games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that may not be immediately noticeable to win children over to the world of music. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy the House of Hungarian Music or even other attractions of City Park without interruption for 90 minutes.
In order for the children to feel as good as possible and to be able to relax among peers, we kindly ask that tickets be purchased exclusively for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to participating in the programme for an hour and a half without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition need to purchase a full-price ticket; they can visit the exhibition independently of this programme.
