Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition
The House of Music Hungary’s permanent exhibition titled Dimensions of Sound offers an experience that – based on hundreds of thousands of pieces of feedback, we can safely say – is one that lasts a lifetime. We would like to make this experience accessible for young children as well – and thereby give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in safe hands. For this reason, we have created a guided tour designed specifically for children, held without adults, whose aim is to allow the youngest age group to encounter the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute session uses games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that may not be immediately obvious at first glance to win children over to the world of music. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy the attractions of the House of Music Hungary or even other sights of City Park for 90 minutes without interruption. In order to ensure that the children feel as comfortable as possible and can relax among their peers, we kindly ask that you purchase tickets only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to taking part in the program for an hour and a half without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition are required to purchase a full-price ticket; they can visit the exhibition independently of this program.
Recommended age group: 4–8 years
Maximum number of participants: 10 children
