Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition
The House of Music’s permanent exhibition titled Sound Dimensions offers an experience that—based on hundreds of thousands of pieces of feedback, we can safely say—will last a lifetime. We would like to make it possible for young children to experience this as well, and at the same time give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in good hands. For this reason, a guided tour has been created specifically for children, taking place without adults, with the aim of allowing the youngest age group to encounter the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute program uses games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that may not be immediately apparent at first glance to win children over to the world of music. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy the attractions of the House of Music or even other sights in the City Park for 90 minutes without interruption. In order for the children to feel as good as possible and to be able to relax among their peers, we kindly ask that you purchase tickets only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to taking part in the program for an hour and a half without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition are required to purchase a full-price ticket; they can visit the exhibition independently of this program.
Recommended age group: 4–8 years
Maximum number of participants: 10 children
The program is conducted in Hungarian.
