Mihály Berecz's Piano Recital
In 2013, at the age of 16 one of Hungary’s most outstanding young pianists, Mihály Berecz, made his debut with Ravel's Piano Concerto in G major at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall under the baton of Zoltán Kocsis. This much acclaimed concert was followed by numerous invitations to perform with other conductors, including Tamás Vásáry, with whom Mihály Berecz performed Liszt's Hungarian Fantasy at the Hungarian State Opera, and András Keller, with whom he performed Debussy's Fantasy and Beethoven's Piano Concerto in G major. He has also worked with Kálmán Záborszky, György Vashegyi, Tamás Gál and Gergely Ménesi with Concerto Budapest, the National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Budapest Philharmonic Society Orchestra, the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra, the Zugló Philharmonic Orchestra and the Kassa State Orchestra.
