A concert in which silence is the protagonist is a concert that will be very quiet, but that is exactly what makes it so special. A re-imagining of the relationship between music and silence. It is a questioning of many musical assumptions and a confirmation that sound is born from silence. In the words of the performers, four excellent musicians on piano, bass, saxophone and violin: "The post-event pill is ineffective because it is not a concert, but rather silence. Silence is the basis of everything, especially inner silence. Today, external silence is practically non-existent. Anyone who comes expecting to be emotionally guided will be disappointed, better not... you will be able to get in touch with yourself, leaving any thoughts you may have behind. An hour or so of contemplation, letting go of impermanence if you like, experiencing its centre within you. To transcend, to embrace higher forces, simply, because it doesn't happen – it just is."
