Júlia Kozáková & Manuša (SVK) & Miklós Lakatos & His Band
This programme is held in Hungarian.
One evening, two worlds not so far apart – the same spirit. On November 16, Júlia Kozáková and Miklós Lakatos' bands will bring the best of Hungarian and Slovakian urban gypsy music to our main stage. Here, borders do not separate, but converge: delicately layered, yet unmistakably distinctive vocals, some of the most impressive and experienced violin playing in our region, a considerable overlap in repertoire, all with the spontaneity characteristic of Gypsy music. Two generations, two schools – one common language: music from Bratislava to Budapest.
