Mental Liget – the forum for mental health in the workplace
This programme is held in Hungarian.
Workplace mental wellbeing: community of interest and setting boundaries
The Mental Liget – the forum for workplace mental health, launched for 18 May 2026 – aims to show how a mentally healthy organization can become a business advantage, which is not only a human, but also an economic issue. Mental Liget – the forum for workplace mental health – primarily aims at hands‑on workshops that can be used in everyday life and an exclusive club character. It is not merely a newly emerging forum, but the home of a new corporate management mindset.
For the participants of the event personally, and for the organizations they represent, it is important that mental health receives attention; they play a pioneering role in developing, establishing and making this approach effective, and their participation adds value. Workplace mental wellbeing is in fact a management mindset, a community of interest between the employee, the leader and the company, maximizing performance:
· The employee is satisfied when they can fulfil themselves in an attentive workplace, in a suitable position and with appropriate responsibilities
· It is in the leader’s interest that their colleagues are capable of maximum performance, because this is the driving force behind both the company’s and their personal success
· Corporate effectiveness is the sum of individual performances
Our key topics
We will unpack the topic of setting boundaries: what are the consequences if we do not set our boundaries, how can we recognize this, and what can we do if we feel we are unable to do it at all?
We will explore what costs are caused by turnover, sick leave and loss of productivity resulting from a lack of mental health, and through which KPIs these can be monitored.
We will examine how leadership burnout and decision‑making distortions, and the resulting decision and risk‑management errors, negatively impact team performance and thus the damage suffered by the company.
We will propose possible intervention directions to reduce the negative effects of stress on creativity and innovation.
We will present the interrelations of digitalization, the “always‑on” culture and mental overload.
Through correlation analysis and case studies, we will reveal the positive impact of mental wellbeing on financial performance.
We will discuss how essential an element corporate wellbeing is in employer branding.
