Cello XXL
What could sound better than one cello? Even more cellos!
At the House of Music we can once again meet the ensemble formed by the students of the Liszt Academy’s cello department and their teachers (Ditta Rohmann, Dóra Kokas and Piroska Baranyay). Masters and their students invite cello lovers on an exciting and adventurous journey with their production, which once again presents a program tailored to the venue – this time the Open-Air Stage: arrangements written for cello ensemble will be performed, ranging from works by Debussy, Ravel and de Falla all the way to lighter genres. As on previous occasions, each piece will be linked by so-called soundpainting, that is, interactive “sound-painting” improvisation directed by hand signals, in which the audience will also have the opportunity to participate as creators. We warmly recommend the program to children and families as well!
Dear Visitor, We kindly inform you that during the event, photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings may be taken. By attending the event, you consent to the recording of such materials through your implied conduct.
Covered Open-air Stage concerts
The program will be held even in rainy weather, as the Open-air Stage is largely covered.
