At the concert of Veronika Harcsa’s international duo with Nora Thiele, the songs are accompanied by a film by photographic artist Zoltán Vancsó, offering a one-time, interdisciplinary artistic experience.
In June 2024 Harcsa graduated from the music therapy program at the University of Pécs. Drawing on this experience, she has created an interactive concert program for adults, in which the audience of the House of Music can take part. Her musical partner is Nora Thiele, the German percussionist, instrument builder, and composer. In addition to researching and performing medieval, Renaissance, and early Baroque percussion instruments, Thiele has always gladly taken part in jazz and world music performances, and thanks to her self-developed range of instruments she is a frequent collaborator in experimental productions. The program consists primarily of new original compositions by Veronika Harcsa, written specifically with the concept that the audience can join the music at certain points, creating an innovative concert format. The audience as a whole adds a layer to the songs that enriches the music born on stage, creating a truly communal experience, for which no prior musical training is required.
At this event, the vinyl record of the duo’s album titled Flow By will be available for purchase for the first time.
