This programme is held in Hungarian.

Juci Németh has never had a solo show, but now the time has come, as she will celebrate the 30th anniversary of her musical career in 2027. The evening promises a varied musical experience: alongside her signature songs, she will perform some of her favorites with a full orchestra, and, as a truly special instrumental feature, the sitar.

Juci Németh began her career at the age of twenty with Anima Sound System, where she grew into a distinctive, genuine “main-stage” headliner and featured singer of the Hungarian underground scene at the time. After a few years working as a television presenter (Kultúrház), she launched her band Nemjuci, with its distinctly rock-inspired sound, and for 18 years we enjoyed her dramatic and sometimes humorous performances as the diva of Budapest Bár. She currently performs with her partner, musician Hunor G. Szabó, in an exciting setup featuring a range of instruments, under the name JUCIHUNOR DUO. Alongside music, she has also shown off her acting talent, for example at Táp Theatre. She has also been a regular guest with numerous bands and projects (Kispál és a Borz, Csinibaba, etc.), and has worked as a music producer and stylist; she was even among the first to open a vintage boutique, Nemruci.

The solo show draws on the many facets of Juci as a singer and the different sides of her personality. Hits from her career and some of her favorite songs will also be performed, each with a distinctive touch. Juci’s fellow musicians for the evening will be Zsolt Csókás on guitar, István Tóth Jr. on double bass, Krisztián Oláh on piano, Gábor Weisz and Ádám Meggyes on horns, and Hunor G. Szabó on drums. As a special feature of the evening, reflecting Juci’s eclectic song choices and her passion for Indian music, Szabolcs Tóth will join them on sitar.
