This programme is held in Hungarian.

Some people draw courage from it, while others fall asleep to it. Some are spurred into action by it, while others enjoy it only from an armchair. It cheers some people up, but makes others sad. (Especially when it’s very out of tune…) Let’s face it, the list could go on almost forever, and there are so few things in the world that can do all this—which shows how wonderful MUSIC is, and how much it can do! The entertaining family program Hangadó Junior continues, and in its final installment we’ll be looking for answers to what MUSIC is—and, of course, to life’s big questions.

This time, we’ll explore—hopefully amid tears of joy and emotion—when and why we sing. How does singing affect us, anyway? And why is it good to sing? Helping us answer these questions will be members of Hungary’s most innovative choir, Soharóza, led by Sarolta Eörsi.
Our regular segments—the group music-making and the music-analysis workout—will also return, and naturally, the program will be hosted by Feri Tarr, concert educator at the House of Music.
