This programme is held in Hungarian.
Our series is the sister program of our regularly sold-out workshop, “Joy, Music, Club Life”. However, as its name suggests, the focus here is not on making music together, but rather on listening to music and creating art inspired by it. Held every two months, each session has a theme, introducing participants to different musical worlds and creative techniques. This will be the eighth session, and its musical theme is the world of Baroque music. The materials available for the creative activities will be colorful threads, with “structure” and “composition” as our keywords.
The aim of our new series, “Joy-Music-Creation,” is to discover the joy of creating art inspired by music, following our musical activities together! Creative activities help us develop our imagination and unleash our creative energy, while offering an escape from everyday life. We hope that during the workshop we will discover the joy of listening to music together attentively and creating art in a focused, immersive way. We can do all this in the familiar, pleasant atmosphere of the club, relaxing over a cup of tea. We believe that everyone has creativity within them, and no artistic or drawing experience is needed to take part. What does the musical world of the Baroque period tell us? Inspired by the pieces we listen to, we can express in the images we create the thoughts and feelings the music evokes in us, focusing on its mood, repetitions, melody, and structure.
The musical part of the workshop will be led by music educator Dóra Tápai, and the creative exercises by Judit Kőszegi-Simon.
Dear Visitor, We kindly inform you that during the event, photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings may be taken. By attending the event, you consent to the recording of such materials through your implied conduct.
