Attention, Action! - Live studio workshop with Hakumba and producer András Weil
Szervezés:
The Attention, Recording! series offers a live music experience for those interested in musical creativity, taking an innovative new approach. On the one hand, it offers a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes world of bands; on the other, it is a unique, one-off event where never-before-heard music is created in moments, before the audience’s eyes—and with their participation.
At the November session, the guest will be Hakumba, a Budapest-based band formed in 2019 that blends Afrobeat with jazz and various world music influences. The band’s sound is made both powerful and richly detailed by its five-piece horn section, multiple vocalists, percussion, keyboards, and guitars: in their music, danceability and more complex, jazz-inflected thinking complement each other naturally.
Dear Visitor, We kindly inform you that during the event, photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings may be taken. By attending the event, you consent to the recording of such materials through your implied conduct.
