This programme is held in Hungarian.
The Hangadó, Árpád Tóth’s interactive popular-science series, which is as old as the House itself, has reached its 5th season. In the 2026/27 season we will once again explore the well-known and lesser-known chapters of a thousand years of music history through special cross-sections and unusual perspectives, while the basic premise of the events remains unchanged: it is simply impossible to go home from this program without humming.
In contrast to every other biblical figure, not only countless immortal musical works but also specific musical genres are associated with Mary’s person. The cult of Mary forms the basis of such magnificent musical types as the Magnificat, the Ave Maria or the Stabat Mater. But do we know the background of these, and do we know their story: which were the first, which are the most famous? An elevated musical tuning-in before Christmas.
Dear Visitor, We kindly inform you that during the event, photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings may be taken. By attending the event, you consent to the recording of such materials through your implied conduct.
