Klárisok Band: Folk Music for Children
Concert
Szervezés:
This programme is held in Hungarian.
Perhaps there is no Hungarian adult who has not heard the Hungarian folktale Salt at least once in their life. Yet this tale about the nature of love holds far more layers than we might think at first. It inspired the Klárisok band to create a special story concert, exploring the idea of what it would be like if love’s greatest treasure were not salt, but life-giving, pure water. Klára Korzenszky, singer and child psychologist, and her fellow musicians bring the well-known folktale to life on stage, using this idea as their starting point—but with a slight twist. With the audience joining in, the characters make their way home across mountains, valleys, and waters, guided by our water-themed folk songs, and together discover the importance of everyday values that often go unseen. The Aprók group of the János Bihari Dance Ensemble also takes part in this shared adventure, adding to the story concert’s distinctive charm.
