There are those it energizes, but there are also those who fall asleep to it. Some people start dancing to it, while others like it only in an armchair. Some it cheers up, others it makes sad. (Especially if it’s terribly off-key…) Let’s admit it, this list could go on almost forever, and there are so few things in the world that can do all this – that is, how wonderful MUSIC is, that it is capable of all this!
The entertaining family program Hangadó Junior continues, and in its second edition we will again be looking for the essence of MUSIC – and of course the big questions of life. This time we’ll be exploring – ideally amid lots and lots of laughter – why we listen to music. What is it good for? Is it good for anything at all? How does a given situation in our lives change depending on what kind of music is playing? Of course, our regular segments (the funny history of music, making music together, etc.), and the host of the show – who this time as well is Feri Tarr, concert educator at the House of Music and author of the popular book “Harmony, the Realm of Music” – will help us, but most of all the wonderful artists of the Momentán Company, who will improvise on the spot to make visible everything that is heard. With their help, hopefully everyone will go home not only with sore abdominal muscles from laughing or with a (good) experience, but also with the question: All right, now I understand what music is good for (or: what the meaning of life is), but with what instruments can music be created at all? Because this is what the next Hangadó Junior event on February 27 will be about!
